The "Like" Feature

I've noticed that facebook just launched the new "like" feature.  According to the Facebook Blog, it was implemented to reduce the redundancy of messages of agreement or congratulations.

Another prespective could be this is mechanizing the speech act and concealing our style of delivery.  However, in that anonymous setting, Facebook might be bring out more wallflowers from the friends list and increase interactions by cutting out the use of the keyboard.
